The Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency  (DSIRE) is a comprehensive source of information on state, local, utility and federal incentives and policies that promote renewable energy and energy efficiency.
 
A report on America's Climate Choices, published in 2011 by The National Academies Press, summarizes the most recent scientific evidence that is detailed in four other reports.
 
Excellent interactive display based on an article on renewable energy from the November 2009 Scientific American.
