Congratulations to SSVEC members for helping to make the co-op number one in the country in terms of solar power installed per customer. The Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) has placed SSVEC at the top of the "Annual Solar-Watts-per-Customer" list at 56.0 Watts/customer. At public forums held in Patagonia on March 9 and Elgin on March 11, 2010, Ron Orozco, SSVEC Engineering Manager stated that the co-op will be developing new outreach and co-op member education programs. The programs will be based on successful demand management programs implemented by Arizona Public Service Company in Arizona and by other electric utilities around the country. PE4RC welcomes the opportunity to work with the co-op to help achieve our shared goals of reducing average electricity use by all SSVEC members, and particularly helping those members in the Elgin-Sonoita-Patagonia areas more energy efficient.
