In August 2009, the Arizona Corporation Commission ordered SSVEC to arrange for the preparation of an independent feasibility study to identify and describe "potentially feasible alternatives to mitigate current [V-7 feeder] performance issues and to identify solutions to serve customers over the next 20 years." The result was a 137-page study (the IFS) prepared by Navigant Consulting, Inc. PE4RC team members have read the IFS and we have prepared a summary which outlines the five technically feasible options as identified by the authors of the IFS and a ratepayer financial analysis, both of which are available below under Attachments.. A .pdf containing the entire IFS is available from the SSVEC web site or by using this link: |
