Survey

Survey Update:

We received 147 completed online and hardcopy survey responses. Thanks to everyone who took the time to complete and submit their surveys!

Here are some of the key results:

  • Over 90% of respondents believe conserving natural resources is important
  • Over 70% believe that installing renewable energy technology is also important
  • More than half prefer to receive information via a website or a listing of resources
  • About 40% of all respondents have already installed or plan to install solar technology
  • Over 80% of those who indicated a reason why they had not yet implemented energy conservation measures or renewable energy technology cited cost as a factor.
During the March 27 Energy Expo, we drew the names of the survey respondents who entered the raffle of the three prizes. We would like to again thank the local businesses who donated the prizes:

Red Mountain Foods, $15 gift certificate was awarded to Patagonia resident Kathleen Pasierb

Sonoita Fuel Stop, 2 large pizzas went to Keith and Martha Flewelling of Elgin

Sonoita Hardware and Buffalo Gals Gifts, $35 gift certificate went to Connie & Frank Wicks

Once again, thank you for your participation in the survey and your interest in this website. A more comprehensive summary of the survey results is available on the Results page and the cover letters and questionnaires are also available under Survey Forms.

Please email us at pe4rcaz@gmail.com if you have any questions.
